TRANSITIONS AND RESTROOM BREAKS
-
TRANSITIONS
As you transition to each class, it is approximately 5 minutes. As you enter my classroom, we will have an opening activity while everyone gets seated. The goals are to have a stress-free smooth transition. This means sitting down quietly at your desk, preparing yourself to learn, and having the following things ready to go when you enter the classroom.
- Backpack on back of seat
- Laptop open and ready to go
- Pencil/writing utensil on desk ready to go.
- Graphic Organizer ready to go.
- Water Bottles are to be filled up at restroom breaks only unless medically necessary per doctor’s orders which needs to be in your school file and approved by Administration.
RESTROOM BREAKS
As a Murphey Maverick, we have a set schedule regarding going to the restrooms. I know at times when there might be an emergency. As a Murphey Maverick, it is your responsibility to follow all restroom guidelines and expectations. The following are our expectations as part of our S*T*A*R Program
- Be professional and quiet in the hallway for other classes.
- Do not goof around in the restroom. Absolutely no horseplay.
- Line-up as a group. We do this as a group because it is safer, and NO ONE can be in the restroom without the teacher.
- Be mindful of the supplies in the restroom.
- Follow ALL hygiene and sanitizing guidelines.
