Dear parents/ guardians,

Below is the reassess and relearn plan for 10th Grade Literature. This is a year-long plan.

Please read and sign below stating that you understand the steps your students must take to improve their learning. Please contact me if you have any questions.

Relearn/Reassess Plan

As assignments are graded, the teacher will assess if reteaching is needed (more than 20% of students fail assignments- this does not include those who simply did not turn it in).

Reteaching will include, but not be limited to, one of the following:

*IXL lessons, PowerPoint, or reteaching through teacher-led instruction

For individual students who fail or are missing an assignment, the following plan will be

followed:

*Reminders of missing work (verbally, Canvas announcements, or emails)

*Tutoring after school is available on Tuesdays (students just need to let the teacher know in advance)

*Assignments in Canvas/paper

*Once assignments are closed, students are required to send me an email to reopen
