Welcome to my About Me page!

I'm proud to be an Augusta native with deep roots in the community. As a product of Richmond County, I graduated from A.R. Johnson, though my family are proud alumni of HHS—so choosing HHS was inevitable!

I began my higher education journey at Georgia Military College, earning my Associate's degree before completing my Bachelor's at the University of South Carolina - Aiken. Now, I'm furthering my passion for education by pursuing a Master's in Secondary Education.

Before becoming a full-time teacher, I worked as a substitute, which allowed me to build valuable classroom experience and develop a deeper understanding of student needs.

This is my third official year of teaching, but I have been working in education for about 6 years. I currently teach Biology and Human Anatomy & Physiology. I am the JV cheer coach, boys' basketball support staff, chess club advisor, homecoming committee chair, and prom committee co-chair.

In January 2024, during my first year of teaching, I was honored to receive "The One To Watch" Award, recognizing my commitment and potential as an educator.

My goal as an educator is to inspire and empower future leaders, believing that education is the cornerstone of progress. I'm honored to be part of this journey, and I look forward to another transformative year ahead!
