About Coach Mayo

About Me:
I am Coach Mayo, and I’m excited to be your Health and Physical Education teacher here at Hephzibah High School for the 2025–2026 school year. I currently teach Personal Fitness and Intro to Team Sports, and I also serve as the Head Softball Coach, JV Girls Basketball Coach, and Assistant Girls Track Coach.

I’m passionate about creating a positive, energetic learning environment where students feel encouraged to grow both physically and mentally. Whether we’re working on team-building skills or learning how to build a personal fitness plan, my goal is to help every student build confidence, character, and lifelong wellness habits.
