  • Welcome to Tobacco Road Elementary School!
    My name is Sherrilyn Marshall, and I have the honor of serving as the principal of Tobacco Road Elementary. I am thrilled to welcome you to the 2025–2026 school year. I am so fortunate to lead this amazing school community!
    This year, our theme is “Game On! Every Move Counts and Every Child Matters.” We are energized and ready to take on the year with focus, purpose, and heart. It’s all about making intentional moves that support student growth and ensuring that every child feels seen, valued, and supported.
    We’re excited about the opportunities ahead to prepare our students academically, socially, and emotionally. Our entire staff is committed to raising expectations and helping each student reach new levels of excellence. We are placing a strong focus on attendance, increasing achievement in both math and reading, and continuing to build strong relationships through our school-wide House System.
    We believe that strong partnerships between school and home lead to the best outcomes for students. I encourage you to get involved, join our PTO, volunteer when possible, and stay connected. Most importantly, communicate regularly with your child’s teacher, attend conferences, and ask questions about your child’s progress.
    When we all work together, our STARS will shine even brighter!
