Hello everyone! My name is Mr. S (Mr. Schwertfeger)! I'm beyond ecstatic to be your 6th/7th Grade Math Teacher!

Teaching children has been a passion of mine since high school! A classroom is where a child spends 8-9 hours a day absorbing new information that they will be fascinated about! I have always been a fan of children's curiosity about the world and have them ask questions about where they are now and how they can improve! Having another role model in a child's life will help shape them up later in life! Middle school holds a special place in my heart! This is the time when students begin to find who they are and who they want to become! Having a committed teacher like me will ensure that students will start to embark on that journey to excellence!
