Hello! My name is Richard Boiter, I'm a Computer Science / Game Design /Cyber Security Instructor in my eighth year with the Cyber Academy of Excellence. I teach Introduction to Software and Computer Science Principles this year in both the morning and the afternoon. Those classes are available through Canvas.

I've been in the computer industry for over fourty years, working with corporate clients, local businesses, and area hospitals. I'm an Augusta native and care very deeply about our Richmond County students succeeding and making the absolute best of the opportunities that we can offer.

I hold degrees in Electronic Engineering, Information Technology/Cyber Security, and Computer Science (Programming). I hold CompTIA Security+ Certification, which is one of the many certifications we want for and offer to our students. My programming languages include B.A.S.I.C., C#, Python, SQL, and HTML/CSS.

My goal is to connect with the students' interests and help elevate them to the highest level. To that end, I have several policies in place to ensure that they can recover from mistakes and stay on task. I am available for tutoring after 2pm weekdays during my office hours.
