Natasha Choe: Choir Director & Fine Arts Department Chair
Education & Training:
Natasha Choe holds not one but two bachelor’s degrees from Augusta State University, both focused on Voice, one in Music Education and the other in Performance.Professional Experience:
Ms. Choe has provided private voice instruction through the Augusta University Music Conservatory Program for 14 years, teaching students at all levels and mentoring students in both technical skill and artistic expression. She has also led Choral Master Classes during Augusta University’s Summer Music Camp, nurturing aspiring vocalists through advanced ensemble training. Her approach to music education seamlessly incorporates technology, including the use of recording sessions and Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs), enabling her to guide students in creating professional-level digital music compositions.School Leadership & Honors:
Serving as both Fine Arts Department Chair and Choir Director, Ms. Choe has guided her ensembles to earn excellent ratings at Large Group Performance Evaluations. She has also led her groups to perform at significant community and leadership events, including the TechNet ceremony. For her outstanding contributions, she received the 2023–2024 Richmond County School System Middle School Choir Director of the Year and New Teacher of the Year awards.Artistry & Community Engagement:
Ms. Choe has performed at numerous prestigious leadership events and ceremonies. Her genuine passion lies in creating music with students,bringing music to life and forging meaningful connections through performance.Personal Interests:
When she isn’t immersed in music education, Ms. Choe enjoys cooking and spending quality time with her family. She also has a strong interest in fashion and maintains a passion for exploring natural herbal remedies geared toward holistic health.
