I have been teaching at Blythe Elementary for many years. I live in this wonderful community. It is the best kept secret  in Georgia.  However, I believe with the growth we are seeing the secret is out. I have lived here for 39 years.  My husband and I have a wonderful son who is also a teacher.  He is married and last year blessed us with our grandaughter who will be one this year. We also have 2 dogs. My passions are traveling, reading, and swimming. Most of my career I have been a 1st grade teacher. This year I am so excited to be one of the augmented teachers at Blythe. This position gives me the opportunity to work in small groups, challenging children to be the best student they can be. I am looking forward to working with many different children and building their confidence as a lifetime reader.  I hope everyone has a wonderful and productive year. I will be here at Blythe Elementary cheering everyone on to do their best.
