    📚 What Is MTSS?

Multi-Tiered Support Systems (MTSS) is a comprehensive framework used in schools to provide targeted support to students based on their individual needs. It integrates academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and mental health interventions to ensure all students succeed.

    🏛️ Key Components

    • Tier 1: Universal Support

      • High-quality instruction for all students

      • Preventive and proactive strategies

      • School-wide expectations and curriculum

    • Tier 2: Targeted Support

      • Small group interventions

      • For students who need additional help beyond Tier 1

      • Frequent progress monitoring

    • Tier 3: Intensive Support

      • Individualized interventions

      • For students with significant needs

      • May involve specialists or external services

    🔄 How It Works

    • Data-driven decision-making: Schools use assessments and progress data to identify students’ needs.

    • Collaboration: Teachers, counselors, specialists, and families work together.

    • Continuous monitoring: Student progress is tracked to adjust support as needed.

    🎯 Goal of MTSS

To create an inclusive, responsive learning environment where every student receives the right level of support to thrive academically, behaviorally, and emotionally.
