Welcome,

My name is Amanda Holmes, and I've been working in education for over 20 years. I received my Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Georgia Southern University (2004, 2020) in Secondary English Education and Curriculum and Instruction. GATA Eagles! I am also AP certified and Gifted endorsed. My philosophy around education is that it can be fun while challenging, creative and logical, and does not have to be an experience given to you, but something you take ownership of in order to reach your long-term goals. Each day should bring a new opportunity for learning!

On a personal note, I live on 5 acres in the country with my husband, son, and pets. I am a huge fan of live sports, music, and performances. I am an avid reader and eclectic music lover.
