Hi, my name is Debra Pfleiger and for the 2025-2026 school year, I will be teaching Geometry as well as Tools for College Success and SAT prep for the 2025-2026 school year here at A. R. Johnson Magnet School.
I’ve been teaching for 10 years and have lots of experience across many grades. I have both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in education, with math and social studies concentrations. My husband’s name is David, and we have a two-year-old daughter named Nadia. This will be my second year teaching here at A. R. Johnson and I know we are going to have a GREAT year!

I have linked a document which will tell you a little more about the kinds of things your child will be learning this year here at A. R. Johnson while in my Geometry class! Being at a magnet school comes with a lot of expectations and responsibilities, but it also affords students the opportunity to deeply engage with the content in a way they would not otherwise be able to! I look forward to having your newly minted "high school student" this year as we learn and grow TOGETHER!
