Greetings Students & Parents
Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year in Middle School!!!! I’m so excited about meeting you! Let me share a little about myself. I have 2 daughters. I am originally from Augusta, Ga. I have spent 20 plus years in the educational field. In my spare time I like to shop, read and travel. My favorite movie is Love and Basketball and I love watching Hallmark movies. This is my 3rd year at Pine Hill Middle. In my 1st year, I taught 6th grade Social Studies. During my 2nd year I was introduced to ELA and I LOVE IT!!!! Can’t wait to share all the English language with you!
7th Grade English Language Arts with Ms. Walker
This course focuses on reading and comprehending literature, including stories, drama, and poems. Students will be able to determine a theme or central idea, and how a story unfolds. Students will also be able to expand their vocabulary to explain and discuss content. 7th grade. The goal of this two-year course is to acquaint middle school students with the world in which they live. I believe in a hands- on approach to learning. Therefore, students should come prepared to engage in several projects throughout the year.
