I am a 25 year Veteran teacher, and I have been here at McBean for 23 years.

I am a graduate of Mississippi Valley State University.

I am a proud parent with 3 beautiful children, 5 grandsons and two granddaughters. My youngest child is now a teacher as well, which makes me more hopeful for a better world.

If I had to list a favorite subject, it would be Social Studies, no ELA, no Math, or maybe Science.  Who am I kidding, I like them all!   Every subject has it's own special quality that makes it great!  When I am not teaching, I am very active in my church, my Sorority and other community events.

I believe everyone has the ability to learn something.  We don't all learn at the same pace or in the same way, but we learn. I am always excited when I see children figure things out, learn!
