My name is Ms. Owens and I am so excited to be at the Academy of Richmond County!  I have been teaching for 17 years.  I am currrently back in school working on some post graduate work.  My goal for this school year is to help as many students to succeed as possible.  I am an advocate for young people and I will work tirelessly to ensure that they get the assistance that they need.  I love to travel and do that as much as time and money will allow.  I also enjoy watching movies, reading and playing games (the old fashioned kind--board and/or card games).
